Recently, I spoke at a conference in Dallas, TX called "Hear the Watchmen." At the conference, I spoke about something called a Christian Cannibal. The people running the conference, who I consider dear friends, allowed me to post the video on my YouTube channel. I explained it in a recent Facebook post: "A big thank you goes out to Mike Kerr, Jeannie Moore, and everybody at Hear the Watchmen! Please subscribe and share this video around. We have all had to deal with this in our personal lives and this is a message a lot of people need to hear. Help me make this go viral!" I am asking all of you the same thing today. Help me make this message go viral. It is not for me or my own personal glory, but it is because Christians around the world are suffering this scourge of the internet. Some might be saved from it. Some might be too far gone. However, we should want to give everyone every chance possible to understand the problem and to learn how to deal with it in their own hearts.  I will also be speaking on The Hagmann and Hagmann Report tonight (Friday, June 9th, 2017) about this vitally important issue. Click on the link below to catch the show: You might be wondering why this issue should be important to you personally. Why should you care enough to act and share this video? It is because this is an issue affecting everyone. It even affected me years ago. In fact, I have a confession. Years ago (long before coming to work at SkyWatchTV) I was an internet troll. Back then that term wasn’t developed yet, but I was one of them. I wouldn’t have thought of myself that way, of course. To me, I was practicing tough love on ignorant Christians who should have known better about their theology. After all, if there wasn’t all of these wrong ideas, I wouldn’t have to spend so much time and frustration on Facebook, right?  Well, that’s how I would justify it to myself, at least. Of course, as I know now thanks to God, I was horribly wrong. My behaviors were rooted in pride and not at all in scripture (even though I was extremely good at twisting scripture to suit my emotional needs). Not only that, but my judgment of others was way off. If I came across a person online who didn’t share my personal interpretations of scripture or theology, I would come to the conclusion they must not be a real Christian. Or, if they were, they certainly weren’t walking closely with the Lord. After all, if they were, they would share the same rapture belief, view on extra-biblical books, and interpretation of end-times prophecy as me.  I also made sure to let them know it. I would spend countless hours in threads hundreds of comments long just to argue my point. Not pleasantly and politely inform others of my beliefs while giving validation to theirs, mind you. I’m talking outright fighting tooth and nail to bust my opponent’s opinions down while elevating mine as high as scripture itself. It is amazing, looking back, not only how obviously wrong I was in my approach, but how I totally didn’t see it. I was the one who wasn’t walking closely with the Lord. I was only walking closely with myself: my beliefs, my opinions, and my interpretations held priority over everything else. Later, after God had prepared my heart for it, He brought various people through my life who (over the course of years) unknowingly helped me confront my pride issue and humble myself to the Lord. This, of course, came at a cost. I had to give up the idea that I had all the answers. I had to give up the idea that my walk with God was fine how it was. I had to totally abolish the idea that I was not a prideful person. A new path had been set before me.  Over the course of time and a lot of hard work, God showed me how I was actually hurting myself and others with the way I chose to behave online. I realized I wasn’t viewing people online as real people, but more as random faceless names who had no bearing on the real world through my own perception. I treated people online totally different than how I treated people in real life. If someone spoke to me in person, for the most part they were left with the impression of me as a very kind and polite individual. I was not. However, I was really good at hiding it because in the real world, unlike the internet (or so I thought), there is accountability. If things get heated in person, you’re in it until it comes to some sort of resolution. Online, however, you always have the option of blocking someone, turning off the computer, or worse yet, continuing in increasingly heated arguments until the other person gives up. The obvious problem: I was not living by the Word. The Bible, believe it or not, has a lot to say about loving one another despite petty differences. The things I used to be upset abut in other people were not salvation issue; yet I learned, even if they were, it still would not excuse my behavior. We are absolutely commanded to operate out of love: love for God and love for one another. I used to think I was operating out of love for God. If I didn’t love Him, I wouldn’t defend Him so fervently, right? Only I was operating from my definition of love, not the Bible’s. 1 John 4:20-21 states: 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. Going along with that, Galatians 5:13-15 states: 13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. The easy way out of this, of course (at least it would seem), is to assume because it says “brother”, we can treat who we consider non-brothers in Christ however we want. We would be mistaken. Luke 6:27-31 states: 27 “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. 29 To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either. 30 Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back. 31 And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. Romans 12:14-21 states: 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. 17 Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. 19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” 20 To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Overcome evil with good. This immediately removes us from any thinking that just because someone is doing evil, it gives us the right to bust them down for it. Absolutely not. We are to show them love like they’ve never seen before. Of course, when I was trolling, I should have known better. I had even read these passages. However, I breezed past them and didn’t think about how to apply this into my life, especially online.  The main reason I bring all of this up is not only for a confessional. The same behaviors God rooted out of me, I see running rampant online in many Christian circles. Even more, it is troublesome because these people are self-professing followers of Jesus Christ and I have no reason to believe they aren’t saved, meaning they are brothers and sisters in Christ and I love them. The thing is, I believe most people are doing these kinds of things online purely out of ignorance. For some reason or another, just like me years ago, they don’t know better. I also believe they represent the minority of Christians at this point. However, they also have the loudest voice. Most Christians who do not wish to behave this way will bow out of the conversation, go to another page, block, delete, and never think of the trolls again. In many cases this is absolutely what should be done, but at the same time the majority of Christians need to, in a sense “troll” the haters. We need to write articles about brotherly love, share bible verses, teach lessons, and most importantly, we ourselves need to do all of this out of love and not out of condemnation.  We need to get to a point where we can honestly say to God we are sharing these things purely out of love for the other person and absolutely not out of love of being right. We are to love one another. We are to be the helpful big brother or sister assisting their younger siblings in the best ways to behave. We are not to be know-it-all tattlers who’s only motivation is to prove to Dad how right we are by showing how wrong our brother and sisters are. No good earthly father would put up with that, and our Heavenly Father doesn’t appreciate it either.  It’s hard to love, it really is. True love, not just the appearance of it, is a learned skill perfected by practice. It’s not easy. However, it’s what our Father expects from us. Luke 6:32-36 states: 32 “If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount. 35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. 36 Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. Romans 12:9-13 states: 9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. 10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. 11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit,[a] serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. 13 Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. We are not called to be easily offended. We live in a nation, culture, and even world full of easily offended people. If you say the wrong thing or have the wrong idea, suddenly the other person is being persecuted and you are the abuser. Scripture teaches against this mentality. 1 Corinthians 4:12-13 states: 12 and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; 13 when slandered, we entreat. We have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, the refuse of all things. To end with, we must all (myself included) remember, in all things, that love is absolutely most important. 1 Corinthians 13:1-8a states: 1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends.  Believe it or not, only 17 percent of Christians who consider their faith important and attend church regularly actually have a biblical worldview, according to Barna’s research. Shocking as that is on the surface, it really isn’t too surprising once we consider all the variables. For example, we live in a totally connected world. The internet has made it possible for all people of all kinds to share their ideas. This would be a great thing if people valued personal discernment as much as sharing their own ideas. Unfortunately, this is not the case. One doesn’t even have to be a great writer to convince anyone of anything; all one needs is an interesting idea that appeals to a person’s sense of self-worth and importance.  Generally, people don’t examine themselves to know why certain theories are interesting while others aren’t. People don’t normally discern their own motivations. Personally, I believe this is one of the most important things we can do as a follower of Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us the heart is “deceitful above all things.” We simply cannot trust our own emotions, feelings, or perceptions of things. Therefore, we should be relying on facts rather than emotion. Instead of how a theory makes us feel, we should see if it holds up to scrutiny against fact-based information.  At the crux of many theories that seem to cause division in the Church is the personal feeling of possessing secret and special knowledge. There are many examples of this stem ming back to ancient gnosticism and even earlier. It is a very human compulsion and not rooted in the basic teachings of Christianity. According to scripture, the God of the Bible gives truth freely to all who seek it and are willing to learn. It is usually the people who are stubborn and set in their ways who remain ignorant to the truth, such as the Pharisees in Jesus’ day. Conversely, the people who are too open to new ideas and are void of discernment also remain ignorant to the truth, such as the Gnostics from around the same time period. The trick is to be right in the middle; open to hearing out ideas yet discerning enough to know how to test them against scripture.  It is easy for a new and interesting idea to appeal to our pride as human beings. Most of us would feel special, perhaps even a sense of superiority, if we knew something about reality that most people do not. There are even those throughout time who have let the Gospel itself become an engine for personal pride. However, according to scripture, we are to put love above all else. We are to share truth, lovingly and patiently, while also realizing we are not going to have all the answers. We need to be able to identify the difference between the truth and our personal interpretation of truth’ between observation and interpretation. If we fail in these regards, we are in danger of dividing the body of Christ. We are in danger of becoming Divisionist Christians. Divisionist Christianity (dividing the Church based on differing opinions) is one step away from Cannibal Christianity (emotionally abusing each other to feed our own egos), which is one more step from all-out war between Christians. This is why we have to set emotions aside and rely on facts. We also have to be able to identify the difference between salvation and non-salvation matters.  Personally, I find myself in the realm of Bible prophecy. I have always found it interesting. I love it. However, what is most exciting to me is thinking about the different ways things can play out. What exactly is the mark of the beast? An RFID chip? A piece of transhumanist technology? A splice of nephilim genes? Something else entirely? No one can say for absolute sure, but we are given enough information to at least know what kinds of things to stay away from and to prepare for what is ahead. In the meantime, how should we as Christians be treating each other in light of differences in interpretation? Is properly identifying the mark of the beast a salvation issue?  Some would say yes. Personally, I would say not yet. It could become a salvation issue when it is fully implemented. However, for now, we are not there yet. We are allowed to have difference in opinions. What we are not allowed to do, however, is divide over these issues. The mark of the beast is only one of many, many examples that could be given. Where the extremists in these groups based on alternate interpretations of scripture fail is to remind each other love must come first. Paul, John, and other stated so emphatically all throughout the New Testament. Unfortunately, we live in a world where a group is identified by its extremists. Most often, the extremists are the minority, yet they have the loudest voice. The reason is because the majority of Christians are polite, wanting not to offend, and most times bow out of a conversation or even an entire topic altogether so as to not contribute to arguing and bickering. This, of course, gives 100% of the speaking floor to the extremists.  I have found myself in the politeness camp, and I do still believe we should be respectful and courteous to others. However, we need to correctly focus how we actually go about doing that. I don’t think we can remain silent anymore. This doesn’t mean we need to get into arguments, of course. We also should be very familiar with the block and delete commands throughout all of social media. However, I believe there is a good medium of engagement that could give us, the majority, our voice back while also allowing us to put love first. It is all based on facts.  Arguments are purely emotional. One person decides to become personally offended by another person’s opposing view, so they attack on a personal level. This is usually done through a “get them before they can get me” attitude. I used to be like this, years ago. For me, it was based solely on my own pride and insecurity. I have to imagine it is the same for others who choose to behave this way. The best way to combat this is to present facts void of emotion. If there is any emotion present at all, it must be love. We must also realize we do not have a personal responsibility to convince someone of something or change someone’s mind. We do have a responsibility to teach the truth, of course, but if another person doesn’t agree, they are allowed to make that choice. This even goes with the preaching of the Gospel; if we preach Jesus Christ to someone and they don’t accept Him, that is their choice. We can pray for them and move on, but to try to force it on them would totally defeat the purpose. If it is this way for the Gospel, surely it is the same for the timing of the rapture, the shape of the Earth, or if time-traveling demons are changing our Bibles.  Speaking of which, those examples bring up another point: we need to learn how to remove people from our circles if they are not acting Christian or are sowing confusion and discord throughout our brethren. There is a time to disassociate. There is a time to remove the leaven. 99% of the time, this is due to a person’s attitude; very rarely does it have to do with the person’s actual beliefs. For example, I don’t see anywhere in scripture that states it makes any difference if a person wants to believe the Earth is flat or a sphere. However, how that person acts based on his or her personal beliefs, that does matter. A lot. If a person is putting love first, the whole flat earth thing will come secondary to all the important things we should be focusing on as Christians. That person will understand his or her personal view is not the only one out there and that scripture can be interpreted in different ways to different people. For example, I released a video on my YouTube channel showing all of the “flat earth” verses in the Bible could just as easily be describing extra spatial dimensions. Quantum physics is my interest, so you’ll likely get a physics answer from me. Ask an evolutionist, you’ll get an evolutionist answer. Ask a pagan, a pagan answer. A flat-earth believer, a flat earth answer. Scripture can be interpreted differently to different people, which is why it is vitally important to learn discernment over these issues.  This brings us back to the first point at the beginning of this article. Only 17 percent of Christians have an actual biblical worldview. The reason is because the internet and social media has provided us access to every view, opinion, feeling, emotion, thought, interpretation, and crazy idea in existence. More importantly, it is because Christians are finding it easy to accept anything they read because it feels right. It is easy to quote a Bible verse and let it support an original theory. Instead, we should be allowing the Bible to define our theories.  Going back to the quantum physics stuff; anyone who knows me knows it is an interest of mine. In fact, it is a great interest; a passion. Yet, it is by far not the most important thing for me to focus on as a Christian. Personally, I can read the Bible and see quantum physics all over it, as I have written about in my books, articles, and talk about on my show Into the Multiverse. However, I am no stranger to the idea that not everyone else will see scripture that way. Most people won’t, in fact. This absolutely does not put me above anyone else. In fact, it is incredibly humbling as I am called to serve, therefore I feel it is my duty as a follower of Jesus Christ to put all of you above myself. This means, among many other things, thinking of ways to explain my line of thinking in a way anyone can understand, but also allowing people the right to disagree with me without allowing myself to contribute to unnecessary division. People are free to disagree. That does not afford me the right to be unloving and disrespectful, even if someone is rude to me first. The same goes for all Christians. As important as quantum physics is to me personally, learning to love is far more important and needed in the Church, now more than ever. I feel a real calling to talk, write, and teach principles of love, even in light of our current social media culture. Facebook and YouTube to not exempt us from the basic, foundational principles of what it means to be a Christian. We are still required to love each other and love God, not either or. We are still required to be servants to one another, not force others to serve our own egos by bullying them into agreeing with us. We are still required to be God’s imagers across the Earth, regardless what shape it is or how we feel about it. The enemy has infiltrated our defenses. It is time for us to band together, reclaim our territory, and love one another even more than our own lives.  Here is the description to the video: PLEASE SUBSCRIBE AND SHARE! I’m Jane Rodriguez and it’s my extreme honor to be writing for Josh today. God is good! Some of you may already know me a little from work I’ve done with JC Johnson at Crypto Four Corners International where I’ve been a contributing writer, researcher, and in-field investigator. I’ve hostessed the show Café Enigma for about a year and have also been on Vic Cundiff’s show Dogman Encounters detailing my very harrowing and exciting experience with JC and his son up in Minnesota in which I saw both a dogman and a bigfoot. At that time, a whole other vista of experience opened up to me, as “all” I’ve ever seen were spirits and orbs until that point. I always knew I was different and it’s my strong feeling most of you who are reading this can relate, otherwise you wouldn’t have subscribed to this blog, no ? However, it dawned me on me quite profoundly just how differently I viewed the world when I was around ten or so. I made a few existential revelations as a youngster after I began to pay attention to my classmates’ world views. I realized the spirit world (or the “metaphysical world”) isn’t real or relevant to 99% of the population in the same way it is to me and my parents. I started writing an autobiographical-type book about six months ago detailing a lot of my coming into awareness of myself. I never had the opportunity to be much of a skeptic about the paranormal or the “high-strange”. I had regular experiences with paranormal and unexplained phenomenon first-hand from a very young age. I was raised by both parents who were born again believers in Christ, but who’s backgrounds individually were very steeped in the metaphysical and paranormal. My dad is from Juarez, Mexico and his father was born in 1903 on an Apache reservation in Arizona. My dad’s father died when my father was very young; he was the baby of his family and his mom was in her mid 40’s when she had my dad. To make a long story short, my dad’s sisters had a shaman come to their home after their father died when my dad was a child. It made a very large impact on him. It’s my thought now that perhaps entities have taken notice of my father during this time; a man who’s genetics may have already predisposed him to have contact with these entities.  Many memories on this topic since childhood were of hushed conversations in the kitchen; my parents thinking I couldn’t hear their whispers. My dad would tell my mom “I saw him again today, the spirit..I think he’s following me. I see him almost every morning now before I get in my car to go to work.”  My mom, before she married my dad, had dated professors of metaphysics from the University she graduated from. She saw them “divine” her future very accurately. She said one man offered to cast a spell on her ex-husband that would cause him to expire! She said no, of course, though she didn’t doubt it was possible. She knew from her own life’s experiences (UFO encounters, etc.) that this is a very VERY real thing. Her paranormal encounters didn’t stop while I was growing up; neither of my parents’ did. They still have encounters to this day. In fact, at my eldest daughter’s birthday party, my dad mentioned he had an encounter at a place I’ve had several myself: at my late grandparents’ house.  So, all that being said, I grew up in this home in which these things were the norm. We went to a Southern Baptist church every Sunday. Although I never really heard a sermon which satisfied my questions like “what does the Bible have to say about all these experiences me and my family always have?”, my parents would have Christian authors come over frequently who discussed these topics with my mom and dad. I was the kid who, instead of playing with other kids, wanted to sit with the adults and listen to what they had to say about all these things. Without going into too much detail (I will when I feel lead by the Lord to do so), my family dealt with some heavy issues sometimes. I had felt hurt as a teenager, being told by Sunday school teachers that I’m wicked or, by one pastor, I had a “demon” in me because I didn’t want to speak in tongues. This hurt lead to anger and a feeling of abandonment by the people who were supposed to provide answers, out of love, to help me sort out these REAL THINGS that were happening to me and my family.  The anger lead to me seeking out and reading just about every religious and philosophical paradigm I could think of. I read the Satanic Bible, the Mahabharata, and the Vedas (well, as many as I could, there are literally thousands of stories). I went to a mosque, a temple, and read magical grimoires. I read about Aleister Crowley and Madame Blavatsky for fun as a teenager and young adult. I sought answers. I sought the answers I thought Christianity not only couldn’t give me, but said I was evil just for asking. I had said the sinner’s prayer to have Christ come into my heart at least a dozen times as a child and young teen growing up. I had been to Christian schools in which a young man who was being groomed to be a pastor got caught trying to molest his classmate in the shower. This is but one example of dozens of other crimes committed, of at least the same magnitude, by pastors and congregation members in all kinds of churches. I saw gross examples of not only hypocrisy, but how people who went to church and acted so chaste and pious were actually in many cases more sinister and vile than the world when their sins were actually revealed (to their dismay). Like many other people’s responses when seeing this time and time again I said to myself “Well, if this is Christianity, I don’t want one frickin' part of this!” Years of religion being preached to me, with dismissive attitudes and out-right wrongness being tolerated and promoted, had left me so disillusioned I figured there had to be answers, but clearly they weren’t found in the church.  I had pushed myself to the limits in what I thought could be possible with the occult, witchcraft, and other forms of spirituality. I searched far and wide reading and absorbing what other people who traveled down this road had to say. From Goethe to Nietzsche, from Kabbalah to the Quran.  It was my mother, father, and grandmother’s prayers, I believe, that interceded on my behalf. It was the love of the Almighty God who put so many people in my path. He, in His wisdom, let me rebel, be angry, hurt, and confused because He knew everything that happened to me in my life would bring me to Him. Fast forward to 2013. I was 6 months pregnant with my second daughter and although there were some different things happening in the pregnancy, I was assured many times it was safe to carry on as normal, such as exercising. Suddenly, everything changed in one single instant. I woke up one day bleeding. I knew in my heart something terrible would happen if I didn’t immediately go to the doctor. I called my mom and she drove me. After an ultrasound, it was discovered I had to be airlifted RIGHT THEN AND THERE to a hospital otherwise my baby and I would die.  As I’m writing this now, I have to stop here and there to wipe tears from my eyes because it is still just so overwhelming. The amount of terror and fear I was going through happened so quickly. It’s a mother’s worst nightmare actualized. I was powerless over my body and my baby’s life. There was nothing I could do but stare at the sky in shock as I was loaded into the helicopter taking me to the best-equipped hospital to deal with micro preemies. I had a really weird thought occur to me in that moment..“I know now what wounded soldiers feel like when they’re dying” I was admitted and taken to a room. The doctors and nurses were giving me medication to coat the baby’s lungs. They were worried she might be born right then and there (at 25 weeks). The goal was to keep her in the womb as long as possible, obviously. They said every HOUR she’s in the womb, the better (which, as a quick side note, makes you really look at the atrocity of abortion in a different light). This was another time when, (this is very hard to explain) I felt a kind of fear so acute it lead to a break. I was going mad; insane. I had fractured off and floated away. I didn’t know if or how I could ever “come back”. It was only a few days later when the attending doctor made her rounds and saw I had to give birth NOW. It was going to be an emergency caesarian; there was no plans, nothing. I had to do it at that time to save our lives. My last memory, before going under, was of the doctor telling me my baby only had a 60% chance of survival. As I found find later, however, one of the attending nurses was kind enough to take pictures on my phone of my surviving newborn!  It was a miracle of miracles she had survived. My heart felt relief, but the relief was temporary because I was told at any point within 72 hours, which was the most critical, my baby could die. I have never, ever, ever been so helpless, so whittled down to just one thing, so completely, utterly, and supremely relying upon God, to help me. “Please God, please, please, let my baby live.” She had survived the 72 hours and ended up ultimately staying three whole months in the NICU. She was born at 26 weeks, 1lb. 9 oz and had dropped down, as newborns are wont to do, to 1lb. 6oz. She had developed sepsis some weeks after she was born. This was another time I could feel myself fragmenting away, however I managed to pull myself together. I would spend days at her bassinet with my hands on the plastic, praying to God to heal every cell and make her strong and healthy. He did. She healed and today she’s a perfectly healthy, almost-four year old, little girl. Praise the Lord! This experience has been given to me, it was mine. The experience was also the Lord’s, my little girl’s, and my family’s. I will always tell people the goodness of God and the power of prayer. So will my daughters.  My eldest named her Shirley   Shirley now I could tell you the few years prior to this event happening (I’m 34 now), I was a devout Christian, but it would be a lie. I’m not sure what that’s even supposed to mean. Does it mean my outward appearance is squeaky clean and June Cleaver-like? Do I really have to wear pearls and high heels while I vacuum and pretend everything is just hunky-dory? Does it mean religiosity?  Um, no. If I’m going to be frank with you, my struggles have been (and probably always will be in this body) about how Jane feels, reigning in my passions, waiting, and searching for what God wants me to do as revealed by His Word, prayer, and the fellowship of loving Christians. I did a lot of rebellious, stupid, and DANGEROUS things. I let my anger about my past be an excuse not to examine myself in a truthful way; to be honest about who I am. I still struggle with these strong emotions and the scars trauma has left, but I know now in such a clear and real way, there would be absolutely no hope without God. Sometimes being whittled down to just one thing is what it takes for a person to understand that.  I pray that for you. I pray you learn from me and take all things to the Lord in prayer. Take not my word for it, but the words of many a wise woman and man, having said long before I ever existed, there is no freedom nor truth without God. We are all equal and redeemable through His saving grace. God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ! Jane Rodriguez
It's confirmed. I have been invited and have agreed to speak at the coming Hear the Watchmen conference in March of 2017. The event will take place in Dallas, Texas at the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center and Hotel. To order your tickets today, CLICK HERE. It is certainly an exciting line up. The current list (which I am told is still growing) consists of Derek Gilbert, Sharon Gilbert, Jake Ruchotzke, Paul Begley, L.A. Marzulli, Russ Dizdar, Michael Boldea, Dr. Michael Lake, Billy Crone, Coach Dave Daubenmire, Anthony Patch, John B. Wells, Josh Tolley, Lisa Haven, Caspar McCloud, Lyn Leahz, and Larry Nichols. For more information, visit the Hear The Watchmen Conference website. We live in a day where conferences like this and other meetings have basically become church to those who have been disenchanted with the Church of today. I personally can relate a lot to that. I believe we are heading toward a time where more and more Christians will find more benefit in a home study group setting rather than meeting once a week at a local church and hearing the same things they have their entire life. Conferences like these are a great opportunity to break away from the stale and watered down messages commonly heard in many churches today and dig into the excitement and amazing truths found within the pages of the Bible! It's always exciting for me to join these conferences. It's an opportunity to fellowship with old friends, meet new ones, answer questions, and get to know my audience one on one. Throughout my ministry, I have done anything possible to remain approachable and available to my audience for questions or even just throwing some ideas around. This conference is a great opportunity for those very things. As for what I will be speaking about, I haven't decided yet. I will be bringing original material, however. I do not plan on recycling a presentation I have already done. This will be new, groundbreaking information and the audience at Hear The Watchmen will be the first to hear it. Can't wait to see you there! Stay tuned to my website and YouTube channel for more updates and information. Also, don't forget to subscribe to the Hear the Watchmen YouTube channel! Take care and God bless! Josh Peck
Introduction Earth has a stronger gravitational effect than it should based on it’s mass. Measurements of the Earth’s mass tells us the Earth is supposed to be approximately 13,170,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (or 1.317x10^25) pounds. However, the earth is actually about 13,170,658,500,000,000,000,000,000 pounds. At first glance, that might not seem like a big difference. In fact, it is only a fraction of about one twenty-thousandth (1/20,000), or a difference of about .005 percent. While this might not seem like a lot on a normal human scale, it’s huge on a Earth-sized scale. Think of it this way: there is about 658,500,000,000,000,000,000 (6.585x10^20) pounds of mass on Earth that is completely unaccounted for. In fact, this is the most conservative estimation; the amount of Earth’s mystery mass could be almost double that. It is estimated that there is between .005 and .008 percent extra mass to the Earth. To put this in perspective, the diameter of the Earth is 7,917.5 miles. If we take .005 percent of 7,917.5 miles, we are left with .395875 miles, or about 2,090 feet. This means, if you were to take .005 percent of the diameter of the Earth and turn it up on end, it would reach 2,090 feet in the air. If we are considering the surface area of the Earth (196.9 million square miles), .005 percent would equate to a little more than the size of Vermont (9,614 square miles). If we consider the entire Earth is about 260 trillion cubic miles, then there are 13 million cubic miles of unknown mass. No one knows what this extra mass is, where exactly it is located, why we can’t see it, nor why we can’t measure it beyond its gravitational effects. But, of course, there are theories. Pillars and Foundations of the Earth Somewhere in extradimensional space, there seems to be a support system for the Earth. The Bible mentions pillars and foundations of the Earth. Showing their association to Earth, Job 9:6 states: Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble. It also seems the pillars connect Earth and Heaven in some way. Job 26:11 states: The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. Here, these pillars are referred to as “of Heaven”, meaning they seem to exist as spiritual/extradimensional constructs. Taking this along with Job 9:6, the text appears to indicate these pillars originate in Heaven and are connected with the Earth somehow. Although, there are places in scripture where the pillars are referred to as being “of Earth” (1 Samuel 2:8). It seems the answer to where one end of a pillar begins and the other ends is a matter of perspective. The main take away is the pillars are not only “of Earth”; they are not merely three-dimensional constructs embedded in the Earth somewhere. They are also “of Heaven”. If these pillars are extradimensional, it could explain how they can be of Earth and also of Heaven.  We also read of how God can use spiritual pillars to complete his goals in Exodus 13:21: And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: Interestingly enough, we might have another clue of extradimensionality in Exodus 14:24: And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, The text tells us the Lord (singular) looked at the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud (plural). Was God in the pillar of fire or was He in the pillar of cloud? As Dr. Michael Heiser would say, the answer is “yes”. Imagine a two-dimensional universe called Flatland inhabited by two-dimensional beings called Flatlanders. If I, as a three-dimensional being, were to put two fingers in Flatland, Flatlanders would see two circles seemingly independent of one another. These two-dimensional circle sections of my fingers would seem like completely separate entities from a two-dimensional perspective. A Flatlander might ask, which circle is Josh, the one on the right or the one on the left? As stated above, the answer would be “yes”. In this thought exercise, it’s not even that I am in two places at once; at least not exactly. I’m not duplicating myself in order to appear in two places in front of Flatlanders. I just am those two circles, and am even much more, of which the Flatlanders are unable to see. The same concept can be applied to God and the pillars in Exodus 14:24. We can also learn more by looking at what the Bible says about the foundations of the Earth. In order to prove a point, God asks Job a series of unknowable questions in chapter 38 of the book of Job. Specifically, Job 38:4-7 reads: 4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? The point of these questions is to show Job there are things going on that he is unable to know about. Where was Job when God laid the foundations of the Earth? Job wasn’t born yet; this was a completely unknowable time from Job’s perspective. Where are the foundations fastened? As we saw earlier, they seem to be fastened in Heaven; somewhere in extradimensional space. If they were fastened merely in or on Earth somewhere, the question would have lost the original point. Job isn’t actually supposed to be able to answer these questions; they are asked to prove a point. The only parts he may have been able to answer are those pertaining to who created and measured the foundations in the first place. Clearly it was God, further showing a spiritual component to His creation.  Extradimensional Waters and the Firmament: The water that is on Earth now, at least some of it, may have an extradimensional source. It seems the Earth prior to the flood was constructed a bit differently than we see today. Genesis 1:7 states: And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. We learn God made something called a firmament to divide waters above and below. Much debate has gone into attempting to define what the firmament is exactly. We get a clue in Genesis 1:8, which states: And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. Genesis 1:20 states: And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. Genesis 1:16-17 states: 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, We learn three things from these verses. First, the firmament was called “Heaven”. Second, the firmament is open and birds fly in it. Third, the sun, moon, and stars are also in the firmament. The first verse might make us think the firmament is something purely spiritual, but the second and third verses negate that theory. The second verse might lead us to believe the firmament in simply the air around us or even the upper atmosphere, but the third verse negates that too. The third verse might convince us the firmament is outer space, yet the second verse negates that as well. So, what are we to do with this information?  This is something that has caused quite a bit of debate. One theory put forth to try and explain this is known as the “canopy theory”. This theory states that at creation, there was a sphere of water or ice around the entire Earth. This is what the Bible calls the “firmament” in the book of Genesis and elsewhere. Then, at the time of the flood, the firmament/canopy came down and covered the Earth and all its inhabitants. This theory gained popularity among Christians and for good reason. It seems to explain a lot. Although, there are problems with the idea of something solid, or even liquid, encompassing the Earth. Specifically, the word “in” throughout the descriptions we looked at offers challenges to the canopy theory.  First, Genesis 1:20 tells us the birds fly above the earth, yet in the open firmament of heaven. If the firmament was something solid or liquid encompassing the entire Earth, birds likely would not be able to fly in it. They could fly under it, but that is not what the text states. Also, the idea of something solid or liquid encompassing the Earth would likely not be described as open. If it was something enclosing the Earth, it would be described as “closed”. Yet, the firmament is something open that birds can fly in. We also read in Genesis 1:16-17 that the sun, moon, and stars are in the firmament. It does not say they are above nor below the firmament, but in. This also rules out something solid or liquid enclosing the Earth.  What could be happening here is a description of something we as humans have no real concept of due to our limited perception. We could be dealing with something not completely spiritual but not completely physical either. Within these texts, we might be reading descriptions of something extradimensional. Genesis 1:7 tells us one purpose of the firmament was to divide the waters above the firmament from the waters below the firmament. The word above in Hebrew is “‘al” can also mean beyond. As we will see in examples later, the word above in scripture is not always used as a spatial direction. Sometimes above is used to describe something of spiritual/extradimensional origin.  The firmament described in Genesis might actually be fourth-dimensional space (hyperspace) or something within the fourth spatial dimension. To help illustrate this idea, imagine again the two-dimensional space of Flatland. Imagine a circle, about a foot in diameter, cut out of paper as an example of the Flatland Earth. Imagine the circle of paper is resting on a pedestal a few inches above your coffee table in your living room at home. Flatlanders, having no understanding of “up” or “down”, have access to and can travel around the edge of the circle, but cannot go above or underneath. Even if they managed to dig into the circle to the center, they would still not be able to see the pedestal it rests upon.  Now, you might determine the three-dimensional space all around the circle, in every direction of the living room, is called the “firmament” of your house, which you decide to call “Heaven”. Of course, the Flatland two-dimensional space is still a part of the three-dimensional space around it. Therefore, Flatland birds flying in the two-dimensional space around the Flatland Earth would still be “in the firmament of Heaven”.  Imagine you place droplets of water on various places of the edge of the circle in order to give oceans and seas to the Flatlanders. You even decide to give your Flatlanders some light, so you place a desk lamp on your coffee table and angle it in a way that some of the lightbulb is breaching their two dimensional space. The Flatlanders can see the light, but what would it look like to them? Since they have no concept of up or down, they would only see a two-dimensional slice of the light bulb, which would look like a circle to them. They would have no way of knowing there is more to this light, which was set in the living room of your house (firmament of Heaven). They might also notice the stand of the desk lamp. However, since they cannot see how the stand and the lightbulb are connected in three-dimensional space, the stand looks like a separate object all together. The Flatlanders would see another two-dimensional circle. They might even notice that some of the light from the bulb is reflecting off of the stand. You tell them the light is called the “Sun” and the stand is called the “Moon”. You decide to give them more light, so you hang a set of Christmas lights in a way that only the miniature bulbs actually breach their space. You tell the Flatlanders to call these lights “stars”. Again, they can see the stars, but are unable to see how they are connected in your three-dimensional space, so they assume the stars are separate from one another.  Now, just to keep things interesting, you decide to get really creative. You put the pedestal on a rotating platform, causing the Flatland Earth to spin. Next, you set up an electric train set on your coffee table and place the rotating platform with the pedestal and the Flatland Earth on the now-moving train. You place the desk lamp on another rotating pedestal in the center of the train’s rotation. It is timed in a way that the light stays in the center while the stand rotates around with the Flatland Earth. After hours of work, you have created a Flatland Earth that rotates around the sun, has its own moon, and even has stars to look at. You’ve created a working universe.  Now, of course, to the Flatlanders, they are only seeing all of this in two dimensions. The Flatlander sun, moon, Earth, and stars all look like separate objects floating through space on their own. The Flatlanders are not able to see any of the mechanisms that make all this possible. Yet, you can still tell them about the mechanisms. You can tell them about the sun, moon, and stars you placed in the Living Room/Firmament of your House/Heaven. You can even try and explain the Living Room to them, by saying it is a type of separation of their world and yours.  Now, imagine it is raining outside while all this is going on. You might explain to the Flatlanders that the Firmament/Living Room is there in order to separate the water beyond the Firmament/Living Room from the limited amount of water they have on their own Flatlander Earth. In other words, the firmament separates the waters above from the waters below. Now, what would happen if the coffee table all of this is happening upon was under a window? What would happen if you decided to open that window and let the water in? We might find the answer in the account of Noah’s flood. Genesis 7:11 states: In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. The windows of Heaven were opened. Remember too, the firmament was given the name Heaven. The windows of the firmament, which was put in place to separate the waters above (or beyond) from the waters below, were opened and the waters above were allowed to flood in upon the Earth. Imagine again the Flatland Earth and the open window of the living room on a rainy day. To Flatlanders, this would be absolutely devastating and would completely drown their world. But then, after the devastation, the rain stops, a few are saved, and the window is closed once again. Taking all of this into account, we can see passages such as Psalm 104:3-13 in a clearer perspective: 3 He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, who makes the clouds His chariot, who walks on the wings of the wind, 4 Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire. 5 You who laid the foundations of the earth, so that it should not be moved forever, 6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. 7 At Your rebuke they fled; at the voice of Your thunder they hastened away. 8 They went up over the mountains; they went down into the valleys, to the place which You founded for them. 9 You have set a boundary that they may not pass over, that they may not return to cover the earth. 10 He sends the springs into the valleys; they flow among the hills. 11 They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst. 12 By them the birds of the heavens have their home; they sing among the branches. 13 He waters the hills from His upper chambers; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works. Dry Land Appearing from Beyond Along similar lines as the idea of extradimensional water, the land of the Earth itself might have extradimensional origins as well. Genesis 1:9 states: And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. The word appear as used in this verse comes from the Hebrew word “ra’ah”. This word seems to give the distinction of something that is already existing, yet is now able to be seen or perceived.  To illustrate this, we can compare it with Genesis 12:7: And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him. Of course, this isn’t saying the Lord was created at this time in front of Abram. The Lord already existed, but was in a place imperceptible to Abram. The same could be said about the dry land of Genesis. If the dry land was created as an extradimensional construct, then was pushed into our three dimensions of space, from our perspective it would appear seemingly from nowhere.  Again, we can look to the Flatland Earth example. Imagine, instead of a circle of paper, you actually start with a ceramic tile that you place upon the pedestal. A single Flatlander is on the corner of the tile. Again, the Flatlander has no up or down, so he would not be aware of the fact that we was on the tile. To the Flatlander, there would be nothing but empty space in front of him. On that tile, near enough to the Flatlander for him to see but not so close that you drown him, you pour a circular puddle of water. To the Flatlander, it would look like a small circle of water appears when you start and expands as you continue pouring. On the edges of the puddle (and in the center too), you place piles of dirt and rocks. From a completely two-dimensional perspective, able to only see the water, it would seem to the Flatlander as though dry land was “appearing” from nowhere. If a Flatlander was viewing all of this taking place, he would not be able to perceive the source of any of it. All he would know is his physical reality literally appeared in front of his eyes.  The text in Genesis isn’t specific as to tell us where exactly the Earth, water, or land was when God created it. It also isn’t specific to tell us that all we see is all there is. In fact, it seems to say quite the contrary. There seems to be a lot more to creation than what we can experience in our three-dimensional physical reality. In fact, just like the piles of rocks on the pedestal, our reality seems to be a part of a much larger and richer extradimensional construct. The Earth that God created seems to be more than just a solitary spinning blue ball in empty space. It seems to be made of multiple parts, some stationary and some moving, some three-dimensional and some extradimensional, yet all wonderfully intricate and beautifully complex.  The Circle and the Footstool  There is another mystery worth looking into known as the “circle of the Earth”. Isaiah 40:22 states: It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: Along with learning more about the creation of the heavens and how they are “stretched out” (again, imagine trying to explain extradimensional space to a Flatlander; you might say it is stretched and spread all around him), we learn there is something God sits upon called the circle of the earth. Since this is something God is sitting upon in some fashion, we can deduce the circle of the Earth is not something purely physical; there is a spiritual/extradimensional aspect to it. This begs the question, does the circle of the Earth have anything at all three-dimensional to it, or is it purely extradimensional? Psalm 8 might give us a clue.  Psalm 8 is an interesting passage in scripture. The psalmist is personifying the concept of wisdom. It treats wisdom as if it is a conscious entity and gives it a voice. In this passage, we get a timeline of creation. Psalm 8:24-27 states: 24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: 26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. 27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: The first three verses of this passage tell us the context of what is being said is prior to the creation of Earth. Verse 26 even states specifically that, at this point, God has not created the Earth yet. Verse 27 tells us we are now talking about when God created the heavens. It then says God set a “compass” on the “face of the depth”. Based on the same Hebrew words used, the face of the depth here is the same as the “face of the deep” in Genesis 1:2. Also, the word “compass” in this passage is the same Hebrew word as “circle” in Isaiah 40:22. Again, no dry land had appeared yet. Therefore, the circle of the Earth must be a different concept than merely the dry land of the Earth. To further illustrate this, we can compare the chain of events from Genesis with Psalm 8.  In the book of Genesis, we learn the firmament that divided the waters was created before the dry land appeared. The firmament was put in place on the second day of creation in Genesis 1:6-8. The dry land appeared on the third day in Genesis 1:10-13. Comparing with Genesis, if Psalm 8 states the circle of the Earth was created sometime before the firmament, then we know the circle of the Earth must be something created on either day one or day two, prior to the dry land appearing. Psalm 8:27-29 states: 27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: 28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: As we looked at earlier, it was the purpose at the decree of the Lord for the firmament to divide the waters. The first part of Psalm 8:29 is comparable with Genesis 1:8, explaining the creation and purpose of the firmament on the second day. The last part of Psalm 29 is comparable with Genesis 1:9, explaining the foundations/pillars of the Earth we looked at earlier and the appearance of the dry land. Therefore, the circle/compass of the Earth was created and set in place before the creation of the firmament and appearance of dry land. If the circle/compass of the Earth is not the same as the dry land, what is it?  Remember back to our example of the Flatland Earth at the point of pouring water and dropping rocks and dirt in the water in order to create dry land for the Flatlanders. Imagine, just prior to that, you create a mountain of dirt and/or rocks before starting to create your Flatland Earth. You flatten the very top of the mountain in the shape of a circle and place a throne there. Now, imagine that your coffee table is made of glass and everything under it is referred to as the “deep”, or the “depth”, parts of which might even contain the “abyss” or “bottomless pit”; possibly these are all words referring to the same area under your coffee table. You place your mountain on the ceramic tile, which rests upon the pedestal. Next, you pour water around your mountain to form a type of moat. Next, you drop dirt and rocks in the water to make dry land for the Flatlanders. Your throne still rests upon the circle of the Flatland Earth, and though it is connected in some way, it is still a different construct than the Flatland Earth itself. In fact, in this way, you can sit on the circle of the Flatland Earth, which is located in your Heaven, and make the Flatland Earth your footstool simultaneously. This idea is comparable with Isaiah 66:1, which states: Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? In a sense, the circle of the Earth and the Earth itself are similar, yet scripture makes clear they are not the same thing entirely. It seems the circle of the Earth is more connected with the holy mountain of God, described in many places, such as Isaiah 65:25: The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord. The prophet John confirms the location of this mountain in Revelation 21:10: And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Verses 22 and 26 of the first chapter of the book of Ezekiel gives us a good representation of the idea of this extradimensional construction. Ezekiel sees cherubim from Heaven supporting a type of platform upon which sits the throne of God. Ezekiel 1:22 states: And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above. Isaiah 1:26 states: And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.  It is interesting here that the platform is described as the firmament. When we remember the purpose of the firmament from Genesis, however, Ezekiel’s description makes sense. The purpose of the firmament was to divide something extradimensional from something physical. Of course, this separation seems to be four-dimensional space that is literally all around us all the time even though we can’t perceive it. Since there’s no real good way to explain or envision higher-dimensional space from our limited three-dimensional perspective, what better way to represent the idea than with a platform separating God and His throne from His servants, the angels that carry Him? The Bars of the Earth: The Earth also seems to possess bars somewhere within its depths. At first read, it would seem these are purely physical bars, but when we examine scripture further, we find that idea is unsupported by the text. One of the most famous aspects of the story of Jonah is how he survived in the belly of a great fish. However, when reading Jonah’s description of the event in his prayer, we find what we learned in Sunday School may not be exactly accurate. Jonah 2:5-7 reads: 5 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. 6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God. 7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple. Verse 5 tells us the waters surrounded Job, even to the soul. We also read the “depth” closed around him. Here, different Hebrew words are used for “waters” and “depth”. “Depth” comes from the Hebrew word “tehowm” which can also mean “abyss” and “the grave”. We also read that the weeds under the water were wrapped around his head. Verse 6 tells us he went down the the bottoms of the mountains. Therefore, it is likely at this point Jonah had actually drowned and was headed for Sheol.  To further support this, Jonah 2:6 says the Lord brought up Jonah’s life “from corruption”. The Hebrew word for “corruption” here is “shachath” and means “pit, destruction, grave”. In verse 7, Jonah says his “soul fainted within” him. When this happened, Jonah remembered the Lord and prayed. God then brought Jonah back to life and, as Jonah 2:10 describes: And the Lord spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land. This is further evidence that there is more to the Earth than what we see. There is something beyond physical life and death. There is an extradimensional aspect. The bars of the pit are just one example. Four Corners and Ends of the Earth One thing that gives us a clue that we’re dealing with something extradimensional in scripture is the presence of a spiritual entity; be it angel or God Himself. Imagine again the Flatland Earth, and this time remember the ceramic tile that the two-dimensional Flatland Earth is resting upon. instead of a circle, the tile itself is a square. Even though the tile and pedestal is rests upon is still, at least in part, considered as parts of the Flatland Earth, Flatlanders only experience a two-dimensional circle. However, due to the existence of the tile, corners actually do exist in three-dimensional space. You could try and explain this to the Flatlanders. You could even give them the general direction of these corners. Based on those general directions, they might even develop idioms like “from the four corners of the Earth” to describe the entire knowable landscape of their two-dimensional planet. However, despite all this, they could never experience the true corners for themselves.  This is an example of what might be going on with our three-dimensional Earth when scripture described the “four corners”. Revelation 7:1 states:  And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. The presence of angels at these corners gives us evidence to support these are extradimensional constructs. It also seems the angels have a way, by an unknown extradimensional source, to stop the winds of the Earth completely. Might this mean that, like the dry land, the winds of the Earth have an extradimensional source put in place at the time of creation?  Of course, not every time the four corners are mentioned does it means something extradimensional is going on. For example, Isaiah 11:12 states: And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. There are likely not outcasts of Israel in four-dimensional space. Furthermore, Ezekiel 7:2 states: Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land. The land of Israel does not have only four corners to it (though the heavenly plot of the land might). Again, this is not talking about a literal four corners, but is an idiom to get across the idea of the entire land. Just like the word “land” is used not only in reference to the literal earth beneath the feet of the people of Israel, but is used to refer to the people themselves; Israel as a nation, people, and land. We see the same thing with the “ends of the earth”. Isaiah 43:6 states: I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Now, there are areas when the ends of the earth might be referring to something extradimensional. Matthew 24:31 states: And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Remember again the Flatland Earth example. The entire house that contained the Flatland Earth was called “Heaven”. This means Heaven is located above and below Flatland Earth, even though Flatlanders have no concept of up and down. The ends of Heaven to a Flatlander could simply be up and down; above and below. The ends of two-dimensional space is what lies above and below it. In this verse, once again, we have an angel to tip us off that this might be something extradimensional. Therefore, for angels to go out “from one end of heaven to the other”, it could be referring to all of knowable three-dimensional existence. This might be further supported by Job 28:24, which states: For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven; What is under the whole heaven? Three-dimensional reality; just as two-dimensional reality could be considered under the whole of three-dimensional reality.  The Tree of Nebuchadnezzar Another example of using something extradimensional to explain a physical concept can be found in chapter four of the book of Daniel. Nebuchadnezzar is describing a dream in which he sees a tree covering the entire Earth then, later, a “watcher and a holy one” appear. Daniel 4:11-13 states: 11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth: 12 The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. 13 I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven; Again, the presence of extradimensional beings can give us evidence that something extradimensional is occurring. Possibly even more than that, however, Nebuchadnezzar tells us the tree “reached unto heaven” and was seen “to the end of the earth”. As we discussed earlier, the “ends of the earth” can refer to literally everywhere on the earth. Also, if the tree is reaching into Heaven, it is reaching into a higher dimension. Using again the Flatland Earth example, imagine placing a tree right in the center of the circle with its branches hanging down all around the circle. The tree would be reaching into your house/Heaven and the branches (at least the parts of them that breached two-dimensional space) would be accessible to everyone all around the Flatland Earth. Even though the Flatlanders couldn’t see the entire construct of the tree, they would still be able to enjoy what came from the parts that breached their space. The tree could still provide them with shade, fruit, and even the birds with a home. Of course, this is describing a dream Nebuchadnezzar was given in order to deliver a message and teach him something. This wasn’t a literal event that occurred. Therefore, not everything in the dream is going to be completely physical nor completely extradimensional, yet it is highly symbolic and metaphorical.  Stationary Earth in Motion How can something not move yet move at the same time? Believe it or not, this isn’t as impossible as it may seem on the surface. Consider a pocket watch. When it is closed and sitting on your desk, it looks perfectly still, stationary, and unmoving. However, if you were able to see inside the watch, you would see various gears in motion to keep the watch running. The entire construct of the watch is stationary, yet the watch is still in motion. If a single, moving gear was all there was to the watch, you would not be able to describe it as stationary.  Imagine two microorganisms living on one of the gears in the watch. One might say to the other “the place we live on, called the “Watch”, is constantly in motion”. The other might say “No, the Watch is fixed and stationary; it is not moving”. Technically, both would be correct. The gear of the watch they are living on is in motion, yet the rest of the watch they have no concept of is stationary.  In a way, higher dimensions can work like this. In our Flatland Earth example, the pedestal that holds the four cornered tile is set upon a model train car that is in constant motion. Yet, the entire construct of the Flatland Earth is resting and stationary on the coffee table. Thus, the Flatland Earth is moving through two-dimensional space, yet is fixed and stationary when considering the extra third dimension.  We have a similar description in the Bible when it comes to the Earth. We have verses that seem to describe it as stationary. There are even some that promise the Earth will never be moved, yet there are others that promise it will be moved at some time in the future. Either we have a biblical contradiction or we need to consider more than the three spatial dimensions we can perceive. 1 Chronicles 16:30 states: Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved. Psalm 93:1 states: The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. Showing not only that the Earth is stationary, but that it will never be moved, Psalm 96:10 states: Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Yet, promising that the Earth will be moved, Isaiah 13:13 states: Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. At times, there seems to be a difference in what is referred to as the “world” and the “earth”. In fact, they are different Hebrew words. It seems, at least at certain times (not every time), the word “world” can refer to the entire construct of the world in all dimensions whereas the “earth” seems to refer to the three-dimensional parts we can perceive. Again, this is not a perfect rule and likely does not apply in every instance, but at least at certain times it seems to. For example, Psalm 89:11 states: The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them. This verse is giving ownership and credit to God for His creation, yet it makes certain distinctions. The first part of the verse makes a clear distinction between the “heavens” and the “earth”. Then, in the second half, the verse deals with a third entity, “the world and the fulness thereof”, which seems to indicate the entire construct of the Earth, extradimensional aspects included (pillars, corners, bars, etc.). This can help explain how an Earth in motion can also be stationary and how Scripture can promise it will never be moved yet also promise it will be moved.  Seeing from a Higher-Dimensional Perspective At the return of Jesus, we are told throughout the Bible that everyone in the world will see Him. How can this be possible? Even people in neighboring countries would not be able to see a single person descend on the Mount of Olives. There could be a technological component here, of course. In recent decades, biblical researchers have put forth the idea that television, cell phones, and the internet might give the entire word access to be able to see the return of the Lord Jesus. Yet, not everyone int he world has access to these things. Perhaps in the future at the time of Jesus’ return the world will be more connected technologically, or perhaps there is something more going on here. Revelation 1:7 states: Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. This verse specifically states “every eye shall see him” and, even more amazing, it says “they also which pierced him”. Generally this is interpreted as meaning the descendants of those who pierced Jesus, or overall His enemies, or specifically the Romans, or unrepentant people. Maybe something more literal is going on here. Maybe this verse literally means those who pierced Jesus, who have long died two thousand years ago, will see Him from their eternal abode, along with the rest of the living and physical world. This might give us a clue that a type of convergence of the spiritual and the physical is happening here. If the dead and eternally damned can see Jesus, is it any stretch that the rest of the world can too?  We might have a clue on how this could be possible in Matthew 4:8, which states: Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;  In Hebrew, the word “lian” is translated to the English “exceeding” and means “greatly, exceedingly, exceedingly beyond measure”. How high does a mountain have to be to be considered “beyond measure”. If we remember from earlier, the word “high” doesn’t always have to mean high up in the air, but can sometimes be referring to the unknwoable parts of Heaven. It is likely, in this verse, the devil took Jesus to an extradimensional mountain where He really could see all the kingdoms of the world at one time. In a Flatland Earth, from your throne in the middle of the circle, it would be relatively easy to look around you and see all of the Flatland kingdoms. Although, to Flatlanders, such a thing would be impossible in two dimensions.  We see this idea repeated from John’s own description in Revelation 21:10: And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, John was able to see this happening in the spirit on a great an high mountain. Clearly, this is no mere earthly mountain. This is describing the holy mountain of God that exist in Heaven. If, at the time of the return of Jesus, there is a type of convergence of extra dimensions into our own, this could explain how the entire world will be able to see Him. Imagine if you were to take the Flatland Earth and fold it in such a way that, now, Flatlanders on each side of the circle are facing you directly. Technically, what you would be doing is folding their reality into extradimensional space. This does not give Flatlanders a three-dimensional view, however. The still would only be able to see what is directly in front of them. However, if they and/or their world were bent in a way to be facing you, they could all see you at the same time, regardless how far away they are from one another in two-dimensional space. Three-dimensional space, or what they would consider as Heaven, would be open to them. Describing the return of Jesus, Revelation 19:11 states: And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. This might be what causes the great shaking of the Earth at the time of Jesus return. Zechariah 14:4 states: And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. Now, imagine from a Flatlander perspective what this folding would look like. Their perspective would be shifted away from things they were able to face and see before. They would no longer be able to see the sun, moon, or stars because their field of view will have been shifted above them in extradimensional space. In fact, to Flatlanders, the sun, moon, and stars would blink out, not give light, and completely fall away during the time of this folding/shaking. Matthew 24:29-30 states: 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. We see this trend with the sun and moon continued in descriptions of the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21:23, which states: And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. It is entirely possible the ancient biblical prophets were trying to describe a literal folding of our three dimensions of reality into extradimensional space. This would be extremely traumatic for those not mentally, emotionally, nor spiritually prepared for it. We might even be inclined to believe such an act would completely destroy the Earth, however this wouldn’t have to be the case. Just as folding a Flatland Earth wouldn’t destroy it, only change it’s shape, our physical Earth will be shaken and altered, but it will survive the trip.  The New Jerusalem Above After all the chaos, there is some wonderful things in line for the believer in Jesus. There are new dimensions of existence to explore. There is a new, extradimensional Jerusalem. There are even new, extradimensional bodies for God’s children.  Everything we see in three-dimensional reality now is like a shadow of true, extradimensional reality. Just as a square is a mere shadow of a cube, Earth itself is a mere shadow of Heaven. Showing this in the example of Jerusalem, Galatians 4:25-26 states: 25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. 26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. There is a physical Jerusalem and a “Jerusalem which is above”. The word “above” as used here comes from the Greek word “ano” and can mean “of the quarters of the heaven”. We can learn more about this by comparing with the words of Jesus in John 8:23, which states: And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. Quoting the words of God, we also read in Acts 2:19: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: As we learn, there is our physical world, and a much richer, heavenly reality “above”. Another interesting thing to note is, back in Galatians 4:26, the “Jerusalem above” is referred to as “the mother of us all”. The word “mother” is translated from the Greek word “meter” and, as a metaphor, can mean “the source of something, the motherland”.  We see an antithesis of this idea in Revelation 17:5, which states: And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth. This is telling us the “mother” (same Greek word used here as in Galatians 4:26) of harlots and abominations of the Earth is Mystery Babylon. There has been much debate about the identity of Mystery Babylon. It is entirely possible Mystery Babylon is the enemy’s twisted version of the New Jerusalem. This, in a sense, is the “holy city” of Satan. It is a spiritual/extradimensional place, yet has had three-dimensional “shadows” throughout time, such as Babylon. Just as God has a Jerusalem above and a physical Jerusalem below, the enemy has usurped that idea and twisted it for his own evil purposes. For everything God has, Satan has an inferior and opposite duplicate. If Mystery Babylon is the mother of these evil things, it means it is the source and motherland of them. These are spiritual problems coming from a spiritual source, yet find physical manifestations here on Earth. This is bad, of course, but the ramifications of this worthless attempt of the enemy doesn’t even compare to the wonderful things God has in store for us, as believers, in our source and motherland. We learn more about the New Jerusalem and some of the amazing things we have to look forward to in Revelation 3:12, which states: Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. Revelation 21:2 states: And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Going back to Galatians 4:26, if the New Jerusalem is our motherland and source, then this is telling us we will not only be residents of the New Jerusalem someday, but we are now and, in fact, have always been. Now, this is not to say that we, as saved by the blood of Jesus, have been forced into that position. We still have free will and a choice to make. However, once we make that choice, on a spiritual level, we enter a place outside of time with Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-6 reads: 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: This is telling us, from the perspective of Jesus, we are already seated with Him in heavenly places. He “hath raised” (past tense) us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places. This is describing a past event, yet it is still future for us. This description goes beyond all dimensions of space. This even goes beyond dimensions of time. Being secure in the salvation of Jesus means we get to sit with Him in eternity. While infinity is a span of never-ending time, eternity is a state outside of time, in perfect timelessness. This is something we, as three-dimensional human bound by time, have no way of fully comprehending. Yet, the passage tells us it is true. We are there with Christ already. This is how the New Jerusalem can be our source, yet is also a future destination.  Back to Gravity In December of 2013, New Scientist reported on evidence of dark matter on the Earth. As stated in the beginning of this study, the Earth weighs more than it should. The anomaly is measured by space probes, several of which changed their speeds in unexpected ways as they travelled past the Earth. The Earth seemed to be exerting a higher gravitational force on these probes. Ben Harris of the University of Texas at Arlington wondered if this anomaly was a fluke or if it could be measured again, this time by utilizing GPS satellites. The orbit of GPS satellites are known extremely well, so if an anomaly were present, it should have been easy to find. After nine months of testing, he calculated the difference in what was expected based on how massive the Earth is and what was actually recorded. Harris discovered an average difference of between 0.005 and 0.008 percent greater than the value of the Earth’s mass. This means the Earth possesses extra mass that we cannot see nor experience in any way.  The leading theory is there could be a ring of dark matter around the equator of the Earth that would equate to be about 119 miles thick and 43,000 miles across. Dark matter is completely mysterious, but is estimated to make up about 80% of matter in the universe. No one knows exactly what it is, but it is measured by looking at the gravity of distant celestial objects, such as galaxies, then comparing it with the expected amount of gravity based on measurements of visible matter. In short, galaxies exert a much higher gravitational force than they should be able to based on visible matter. There is something in the universe affecting gravity that is completely unseen and imperceptible, hence the name “dark matter”.  The interesting thing about gravity is its apparent ability to leak into other dimensions, which is currently the leading theory to explain why gravity is much weaker than the other three forces of nature. This means dark matter could actually be extradimensional matter. An object in fourth-dimensional space would still affect the gravity of three-dimensional space. The “extra” gravity would be able to be measured. In fact, discrepancies in measurements of the sun have been found in which dark matter is suggested as the cause. There are discrepancies in measurements of the moon as well. Dark matter might be an explanation. Perhaps it is not a ring of weakly interacting massive particles (or WIMPs, the current leading theory of dark matter). Perhaps the extra gravity being measured is coming from extradimensional constructs. After all, if the Bible is correct and there is more to the Earth than what we can see, we should expect the Earth to be heavier than our three-dimensional measurement can account for. Perhaps science has measured the gravity exerted by parts of the pillars, corners, bars, waters, and high mountains that are secured to our planet in extradimensional space. Perhaps science has accidentally discovered the biblical foundations of the Earth written about thousands of years ago. If this is true, we certainly have a strange and  exciting future ahead of us as believers in the One True God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Thank you for reading, take care, and God bless! DEA Claims Kratom is as Dangerous as Heroin: Is This True? For the podcast version, click here. Sign the petition to stop the illegalization of Kratom at Chronic pain sufferers across the country are about to have a very rough time starting next month. The DEA has just announced plans to make Kratom, an herbal supplement typically used to treat  chronic pain and opioid addiction, illegal to possess or sell. After Sept. 30th, Kratom will be classified as a Schedule I controlled substance. Other Schedule I controlled substances include heroin, ecstasy, LSD, and more. Once this happens, Kratom in all forms will be banned in the country and possession or sale of said Kratom will result in serious legal consequences.  Those reading might be asking themselves, so what? Doesn’t the DEA know what’s best for us? Isn’t the government equipped and capable to dictate what is a harmful substance and what isn’t? When asking these questions, consider this fact: to legitimize the illegalization of Kratom, the DEA cites a CDC report stating there have been 660 calls to poison control services due to Kratom-related incidents between the years of 2010 and 2015. To put that in perspective, there have been more than ten times the number of calls (6,843 to be exact) to poison control services concerning children ingesting laundry detergent pods in only the first seven months of 2016. Also, there have been 15 "Kratom-related deaths" (for clarification, meaning a deaths of people with Kratom in their systems, even if other drugs, like heroin, were present) in the span of two years (2014-2016), yet 78 Americans die every day from opioids. To top things off, the FDA just approved Oxycontin for 11-year-olds.  Oxycontin is a chemical cousin to heroin and is widely blamed for setting off the nation’s prescription opioid epidemic, which has claimed more than 190,000 lives from overdoses involving OxyContin and other painkillers since 1999. Do the FDA, DEA, and similar administrations really have the best interest of the American people at heart? Kratom has been called a “hazard to public safety” by the DEA. However, the number of people claiming a better quality of life, void of harmful or destructive side effects, seem to far outweigh those who claim the opposite. As a chronic pain sufferer myself, I have been narcotic-free for years and have experienced a far greater quality of life than I had prior to taking Kratom; back when I was taking prescription pain killers for my chronic pain. For more information, please view the video at the top of this article. Please sign the petition in an effort to stop the illegalization of Kratom.  *UPDATE: Sept. 4th 2016* There might be hope for Kratom users. Apparently, one company is working to obtain two strains of Kratom that do not contain the two substances found in Kratom that the DEA is trying to ban. For more information, CLICK HERE. From Botanical Guides:  "The bad news is the Government has recently decided to ban Kratom, which goes in effect on the 30th of September, 2016, if they are successful. The good news is we have two new strains of Mitragyna that are not speciosa, and contain different active phytochemicals. The two plants will be available for sale via Botanical Guides starting October 1, 2016. These two strains include: Mitragyna javanica and Mitragyna hirsuta. They contain mitraphylline and mitrajavine, instead of mitragynine. This means that they will be 100% legal, and practically the same thing. This is very fortunate indeed for the American people who would have otherwise been forced to suffer, return to using dangerous pharmaceutical drugs, or other harmful substances. Narcotic pain pills are laced with acetaminophen which is toxic to the liver. Kratom enabled people to avoid these dangers, and gave us all a choice. The government has decided time and time again to take away our freedom. It's time we unite to stop this tyranny legally, and peacefully." Kratom is not a substance for teenagers looking to get high. It is an herbal supplement used by normal Americans: grandmothers, cancer patients, and even disabled U.S. army veterans. David is a 2009 soldier of the year with numerous medals and awards he earned in service of this country. He is also a disabled army veteran who takes Kratom to treat his chronic pain. Everyone needs to watch the video below; disabled army vets across the nation are going to suffer immeasurably due to this DEA decision to ban Kratom. This is one brave veteran's story. Please, watch this and share it around.  *UPDATE: Sept. 17th, 2016* How to Stop the DEA Kratom Ban THIS WEEKEND: From the American Kratom Association:  We have some great news that needs urgent action BY COB TUESDAY (5pm ET)! We, with our lobbyist's help, have found some champions in Congress to write a bipartisan "Dear Colleague" letter asking the DEA to slow down this process. They are Congressmen Pocan of WI, who Susan Ash met with the night before the White House March, and Salmon of AZ. The letter asks, among other things, that the Director of OMB and Acting Director of the DEA delay a final decision on the placement of Kratom as a schedule I, provide ample time for public comment on this significant decision, and resolve any inconsistencies with other Federal Agencies regarding the use of Kratom.  So this is what we need you to do!!! Find your Rep here and e-mail them over the weekend! Then use the number below to call YOUR representative first thing Monday morning. Tell them you are a responsible adult consumer of Kratom for help with ______ (ailment) and ask that they please contact Congressman Pocan's office to sign-on to the Pocan/Salmon Dear Colleague letter on this issue.  To call your Member of Congress: US Capitol Switchboard (202) 224-3121 Please sign the petition in an effort to stop the illegalization of Kratom.  Thank you for reading, take care, and God bless! Quantum tunneling is by far one of the most interesting things I’ve ever looked into. The whole process is extremely mysterious, yet absolutely vital for life as we know it to continue. There are also aspects of it that can have strange, even harmful, consequences.  Imagine bouncing a tennis ball against a wall. For us, every single time, the ball comes back to us. However, due to the strange nature of the quantum world, there is technically a statistical possibility that the ball will end up on the other side of the wall, or even in the wall itself. Now, I didn’t say the ball would go through the wall, at least not exactly. If a weird case of macro-scale quantum tunneling took place, the ball would disappear suddenly when it approached the wall, then immediately reappear on the other side with the wall and tennis ball still perfectly in tact. Of course, there is not much of a chance that this will happen…ever. Yet, the statistical possibility still exists. It technically could happen. The reason for this goes into the extremely probabilistic nature of the quantum world. As proven by Werner Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, the position and momentum of a particle can not be simultaneously known. For example, if you know the position of an electron, you cannot know the velocity, and if you know the velocity, you cannot know the position. Because of this, probabilities are used to, in a sense, “guess” where a particle like an electron might be. An electron might have a higher chance of being in one place rather than another. These probabilities create what is called a “probability cloud”. The Probability Cloud of an Electron As we can see in the picture, the chances of the electron being in the center of the cloud are greater than it being away from it. However, even though the chances are incredibly small, there is a statistical possibility that the electron could be found near the edge of the cloud. This is where things begin to get strange.  Quantum tunneling is the ability of a particle, such as an electron, to travel through a barrier at an instantaneous speed. If there is a barrier of a higher energy than the electron, and an electron approaches it, we would normally assume it is impossible for the electron to breach that barrier. In fact, most times it is impossible. However, every great once in a while, the electron does something completely unexpected. In the rarest of cases, the electron simply appears on the other side of the barrier. Also, just as the tennis ball and wall example, the barrier and electron are both perfectly in tact. How can this be possible?  Probability Cloud and Barrier Due to the probabilistic nature of electrons, at the moment an electron approaches a barrier, there is still a slight chance within the probability cloud that the electron can be found on the other side of the barrier. When that small chance is realized and the electron actually is found on the other side, quantum tunneling has occurred. Technically, the electron isn't going through the barrier, because strangely enough, no time passes for the electron during quantum tunneling; it occurs at an absolute instant. Much in the same way photons are able to communicate at instantaneous speeds when entangled (quantum entanglement), electrons can breach a high-energy barrier instantly. While this may sound like a very strange and even impossible occurrence, it is actually essential for life on Earth as we know it. The sun, and all known stars, are able to shine due to quantum tunneling.  The sun uses a process called nuclear fusion in order to produce light and heat. Two atomic nuclei, both positively charged, collide to form a new element and, in that process, photons are released. The problem is, however, since both nuclei are positively charged, they repel, much like the same side of two magnets. This means there is an energy barrier the nuclei must overcome in order to fuse. However, as the math involved shows, the nuclei in the sun do not possess enough energy to overcome this barrier. The only way this becomes possible is in the rare event of quantum tunneling. Of course, there are billions upon billions upon billions of atomic nuclei in the sun, so even rare occurrences, to us, are common enough for the sun to shine and provide us with light and heat.  Strangely enough, quantum tunneling may also have harmful effects. According to the field of quantum biology, spontaneous DNA mutations can occur through a process called proton tunneling. Normal base pairs of DNA are joined together by a hydrogen bond. From Wikipedia: There exists a double well potential along a hydrogen bond separated by a potential energy barrier. It is believed that the double well potential is asymmetric with one well deeper than the other so the proton normally rests in the deeper well. For a mutation to occur, the proton must have tunnelled into the shallower of the two potential wells. If DNA is replicated while this quantum tunneling is going on, a mutation may occur. There are other instances of mutations caused by quantum tunneling that are believed to cause cancer. It has even been proposed that this is what causes us, and really everything, to age. It is strange to think that the thing allowing the sun to shine and provide life for Earth may also be the thing that is causing everything to age, degrade, and die. However, without quantum tunneling, life in and of itself as we know it could not be possible. Therefore, it is safe to say a life without quantum tunneling is truly no life at all.  Thank you for reading, take care, and God bless! click on the video below for the full story Researchers Arturo Tozzi and James F. Peters have just released a paper that seems to state the human brain might actually operate in four spatial dimensions instead of only three. Yet, as is typical in scientific circles, the paper is in no way written for the layman and is, therefore, incredibly difficult to understand the consequences of what this could mean. One article attempted to take pieces of the paper and explain it to the general public (at least some are trying), though it seems to be written by someone who specializes more in neuroscience rather than quantum physics. This is not a criticism of that fact, of course; it is only to say there is another side to this story. I personally have the opposite problem; I specialize more on the quantum physics side of things and know little to nothing about neuroscience. Therefore, between the previously-linked article above and this one, my hope is we will have a better grasp at what is really going on here. Let us then examine the paper and see what we can learn.  From topology, a strong concept comes into play in understanding brain functions, namely, the 4D space of a ‘‘hypersphere’s torus’’, undetectable by observers living in a 3D world… Here we hypothesize that brain functions are embedded in a imperceptible fourth spatial dimension and propose a method to empirically assess its presence. Clearly, this was written for physicists. This is basically saying that the researchers, Tozzi and Peters, believe the actual functions of the brain either utilize, or can be found in, the fourth dimension of space. The best thought exercise to try and understand what a fourth dimension of space would look and behave like is that of Flatland. Any reader of my work or viewers of my shows should already be familiar with the concept of Flatland. For those who are new, Flatland is a hypothetical two-dimensional universe inhabited by creatures called "Flatlanders". Flatlanders possess the ability to perceive only two-dimensions encompassing four directions instead of the normal six directions accessible in our three dimensions of space (up, down, left, right, forward, backward). A Flatlander would have no concept of up and down if his universe is horizontal, or would have no concept to forward and backward if his universe is vertical. Therefore, we can ask the question, what would a three-dimensional ball look like to a Flatlander if it passed through Flatland? How would you, as a three-dimensional being, interact with a Flatlander?  Basically, the Flatlander would see the ball as a circle that grows and shrinks as it enters and exits Flatland space. He would see you with the same two-dimensional perspective. We can use this as an example of how an object of four spatial dimensions would interact with our three-dimensional world. If a hypersphere (a sphere of four dimensions) were to breach our space, we would see it the same as Flatlanders, only adding one dimension. Instead of a two-dimensional circle, we would see a three-dimensional sphere grow and shrink as it enters and exits our space.  This can help us in trying to understand what the researchers are talking about with four-dimensional space. Imagine if the brain functions of a Flatlander actually occurred here in our three-dimensional space. In fact, imagine if the Flatlander brain, or entirely physiology, actually extended into our dimension. Yet, because they still have a two-dimensional limited perception, they would have no way of knowing it. This is essentially what the paper in question suggests; that we, as three-dimensional entities, might actually extend into the fourth spatial dimension. Though, due to our limited three-dimensional perspective, we would never know it. How do thoughts flow in the brain? Current advances in neuroscience emphasize the role of energetic landscapes (Watanabe et al. 2014; Sengupta et al. 2013), a sort of functional linens equipped with peaks, valleys and basins made of free-energy, where thoughts move, following erratic and/or constrained trajectories… This review, based on recent findings, introduces the concept of a spatial fourth dimension, where brain functions might take place, as a general device underlying our thoughts’ dynamics. This section is using the idea of the origin of thoughts to explain why a fourth dimension of space might be necessary. Imagine if thoughts were actually real and had physicality, yet that type of realism was completely foreign to us because of our limited, three-dimensional perception. It would take a four-dimensional brain (or at least a three-dimensional brain that operates in four dimensions) to be able to interpret them in a way we can understand. Is it possible these are what thoughts actually are?  Think again to the Flatlander who is actually three-dimensional but believes he is only two-dimensional. Flatlanders would only be able to understand the two-dimensional slice of the brain they could physically see and study. The rest of the Flatlander brain, which exists in the third dimension, would be completely foreign and unknowable. Therefore, there would have to be some mechanism within the two-dimensional part of the knowable Flatlander brain to interpret everything else from it's third dimension in a way the Flatlander could understand. This is what Tozzi and Peters are suggesting for us.  Brains equipped with a hypersphere is a counter-intuitive hypothesis, since we live in a 3D world with no immediate perception that 4D space exists at all. We need thus to evaluate indirect clues of the undetectable fourth dimension… Simply enough, this section is stating that, on the surface, this idea of the brain utilizing and/or existing within a fourth spatial dimension is, at least on the surface, useless because we have no way of accessing the fourth dimension. Though, as the researchers who wrote the paper allude to, there are other ways of testing that might provide useful results.  The activation of a single point on the 3D brain S2 surface leads to the activation of two antipodal points on the 4D brain S3 surface (Fig. 3b). In turn, the activation of two antipodal points on S3 leaves on the 3D brain S2 surface ‘‘hallmarks’’ which can be detected by currently available neuroimaging techniques. This is where the paper really delves more into the neuroscience aspect of this entire hypothesis, of which I am not equipped to comment on with any sort of intellectual authority. It seems to me, based on what is said here, that at least the two researchers believe there is a way of testing the brain in order to see if it actually operates and/or exists within a fourth dimension of space. For more on this, I will have to refer you back to the aforementioned article that was written about this paper. Also, there is further hope for us to understand some more about this. I have heard that SkyWatchTV's resident science expert, who actually does specialize in biology sciences, will be covering this story in a future episode of SciFriday, so make sure to subscribe to the official SciFriday YouTube Channel for more information on that. Also don't forget to subscribe to Into the Multiverse, a show I host with my wife Christina, for more about quantum physics and the Bible for the layman.  Lastly, this idea of us as human beings possibly existing in some way within an extra dimension of space should not scare or worry us. Yes, it is true, certain new age and eastern sects have taken this idea and ran off the cliff with it, but that doesn't mean we have to fear it. There might even be biblical evidences for accepting this idea as a possibility within God's grand design. Ephesians chapter 2 tells us that Christ sees us seated with Him in Heaven already, meaning there is a part of us that is outside of space and time. Therefore, amazingly enough, this strange idea about the brain might have some validity to it. Now, of course, that doesn't mean we as Christians should be trying to tap into that dimension or involve ourselves in new age and eastern practices; the Bible forbids those actions for a reason. However we can consider these possibilities and allow them to grow within us a deeper appreciation and reverence for the One True God and His amazing creative power.  This is a fascinating concept that would be outside of our direct purposes to go too deep into here, however if you would like more information, I can direct you to my two books Quantum Creation and Cherubim Chariots. CERN recently decided to release a picture on it's official Instragram of a new precision instrument they are calling the "Infinity Machine". As it turns out, this machine has been in operation for several years, yet it would seem after the recent incident with a small animal and subsequent shutdown of the LHC, the folks at CERN wanted to come back in a big way. Thus, the most excitingly-named, yet least interesting piece of equipment in the known universe: the Infinity Machine. This leaves us to wonder, why are we just now hearing about this development? The machine has been in operation for years, yet now we are seeing it in the headlines. Of course, this type of behavior is typical, even expected, of institutions such as CERN. In these types of circles, discoveries are made, processes are implemented, machines are utilized, yet the rest of us hear about it months, or even years, after the fact. We've seen this with the Higgs Boson discovery of 2012, LIGO's semi-recent detection of gravity waves, and now the Infinity Machine.                                                (Gravity Waves Detected!) Why this particular machine is given this name, one can only guess. The machine itself is an extremely precise measuring tool, built to check the sensitivity of components used in high-energy particle experiments throughout the LHC. CERN stated the machine can measure with a "precision of 0.3 micrometres (μm), around 300 times smaller than the width of a human hair," in a recent quote. A bit more interesting is the fact this machine was designed specifically to measure components for the proposed Compact Linear Collider (CLIC). This new collider would collide electrons and positrons instead of colliding protons like the LHC. Positrons are the antiparticle of electrons, so by colliding electrons with positrons, physicists hope to unlock new boundaries past the LHC's current capabilities.  Giving this machine the name of "Infinity" speaks to a larger scientific obsession with the concept of infinity. As mentioned in an earlier article, infinity is a solution that is never meant to be accepted as viable in science nor mathematics. In fact, infinity is still used as a test to see if a theory or mathematical solution is accurate.  (Infinite Problems with the Universe) Basically, if the solution to problem comes out as infinity, it is rendered meaningless and a mistake has been made along the way. Nowadays, however, the concept of infinity is becoming more and more accepted as a viable solution. If certain religious circles have a "god of the gaps" problem, then certain scientific circles have an "infinity of the gaps" problem.  For more information on this, check out the show I host for SkyWatchTV, entitled Into the Multiverse. In an upcoming episode entitled "Into the Multiverse 013: Gravity's Rainbow", we tackle the concept of infinity and discuss if it has a role in physical reality as we know it.  CERN is also hot on the trail of a possible new particle. Recent tests at the LHC have shown suspicious "bumps" in the data, potentially pointing to an undiscovered particle. Speculations are flooding the world of theoretical physics in light of this new revelation. Some think it might be a new version of the Higgs Boson, a supersymmetric partner of a known particle, or even the elusive graviton. In any event, it looks like we will have to wait at least until the summer of 2016 to find out more. (CERN Discovers Hints of Mysterious New Particle) Thank you for reading, take care, and God bless! You just can't make this stuff up. As it turns out, the rumors are true. A small mammal, hypothesized to be a weasel, has taken the LHC offline. After a power outage, investigating engineers found the charred remains of what appeared to be a weasel, though exact classification of the animal's species is yet to be determined conclusively. An official CERN briefing document states the animal may have been a marten.  Apparently, the small, furry creature had chewed through a power cable.  Arnaud Marsollier, head of press for CERN, stated "We had electrical problems, and we are pretty sure this was caused by a small animal." At the time of the shutdown, the LHC was attempting to prepare to collect new data on the elusive Higgs Boson particle. It has also been reported that CERN has seen some hints of possible new and undiscovered particles.  Marsollier stated it will take a few days for repairs. Though the repairs themselves will be relatively quick, it could be as much as another week or two before the LHC can be brought fully back online. According to Marsollier, "It may be mid-May." This isn't the first time an animal has interrupted operations with the LHC at CERN. In 2009, it was believed a bird had dropped a baguette on critical electrical systems. Marsollier is quoted as saying "We are in the countryside, and of course we have wild animals everywhere." These types of problems happen with other particle accelerators as well. In 2006, raccoons were the cause of issues at Fermilab in Illinois.  We will have to wait to see if the extent of the damage is greater than first thought, however it seems the LHC at CERN will be back up and running in no time. After that, who knows what other vicious animals might wage war against this 17 kilometer juggernaut. A mouse? A squirrel? Perhaps the dreaded and vengeful salamander will take a few moments out of his day to exact a last crusade against the metallic beast. At least we humans can finally rest easy knowing God's smallest creatures are well-equipped and ever-vigilant to defend us against the devil's portal-to-hell machine.  Long live the mighty weasel, for the furry forest creatures shall prevail!   Josh Peck

For those who aren’t familiar with me and my testimony, I was brought up in a Christian home but, in my early adulthood, fell into New Age theology for a few years. It began because I was dealing with sleep paralysis. I was also experiencing, what I considered to be, demonic manifestations and attacks. I didn’t know anything about spiritual warfare and had no idea how to solve this problem. I confided in a friend about my problem and she handed me a book about astral projection. Before that time, I had never heard of such a thing. Her idea was I could use astral projection (the process of meditating in order to leave your own physical body) to escape the attacks. I felt it was worth a shot. I practiced and meditated, even becoming a vegetarian (something the book suggested), for six months before it actually happened. This was when I discovered that, yes, astral projection is fully real and not just a dream, hallucination, or product of imagination. Once I became better at it, I decided to test it. I would astral project into places I’ve never been before, then later visit those places to see if the projections were accurate. They were. Every time. I quickly found out there would be no way astral projection could help me with my sleep paralysis and demonic attack problem. The type of meditation needed would have been impossible under such strenuous conditions. In fact, there were times when meditation would spur on sleep paralysis and subsequent demonic manifestations. Regardless, I was already hooked. I didn’t care. For me at the time, it was well worth it. By this time, I was becoming more and more entrenched in New Age theology. One of my favorite people to read about was Edgar Cayce. Stories of him falling asleep on a Bible as a child and waking up with full recall of scripture absolutely fascinated me. Even the depiction of his self-sacrifice; continuing to use his gifts for the benefit of others until it eventually killed him, really spoke to me. At the time, I was thinking, now here is a good man and an example of what the world needs more of. It was easy for me to justify Cayce’s New Age theology by believing he was truly a Christian and everything else he taught was just an extension of that. Of course, this was during a time when I wasn’t taking the Bible very seriously and was going out of my way to ignore all of the inconsistencies between Edgar Cayce and the Bible. A couple of years after my first introduction to Edgar Cayce, I renounced everything New Age. The details of the reasons behind this decision are quite lengthy and beyond the purposes of this article. If you wish to know more, however, you can check out what I shared during an interview with good friend Richard Shaw (producer of Torah Codes and the Watchers series) in the linked video below. The short version of the story is, while astral projecting, I came across a group of spiritual beings who, at the time, seemed very friendly. They told me they would help me leave my body if I asked them to. The next time I tried to astral project, I couldn’t. However, I decided not to ask the entities for help. Shortly after that, our home came under a spiritual attack that I did not think was possible outside of horror movies. Basically, the entities were upset that I didn’t invite them in, so to speak, so they were trying to force their way in. This put me on a path to getting back into the Bible, rededicating my life to Christ, learning about spiritual warfare, and using the authority in the name of Jesus to force these things out. It worked. Not only did it solve that problem, but it also ended up completely solving my issue with sleep paralysis and demonic manifestations. Because of Jesus Christ, I no longer have to live in fear of those things. This new spiritual transformation caused me to look at New Age theology through a truthful lens. Suddenly I felt awake and could not believe the types of things I was involved in. Looking at Edgar Cayce through a biblical lens was especially eye-opening. Once I realized what a Christian actually is, any belief I had that Edgar Cayce was a true follower of Christ was dispelled. Now, to be clear, I am not saying Edgar Cayce wasn’t saved. Besides God, no one can know that. For all anyone knows, Cayce could have repented at any point in his life. He could have accepted Jesus just before he died. No one knows. However, being saved and being a follower of Christ are a bit different. Accepting Jesus as your savior is the first initial step toward a relationship with God. Actively cultivating that relationship, however, is what it means to be a follower of Christ. Edgar Cayce might have accepted Jesus at some point. He might be in Heaven right now. We have no way of knowing. However, we do have the information available to deduce, based on biblical premises, if he was a true follower of Christ or not. One of the biggest evidences we can look at are his prophecies. This is actually what has spurred on this study. A while ago I posted a video about one of Edgar Cayce’s prophecies involving Russia and World War Three. See the video below. In the video, I put forth the possibility that Edgar Cayce was under demonic influence rather than Godly influence. This wasn’t an attempt to insult Cayce, only to provide another answer that I believe is more accurate. In the comments, one of the things that was repeated the most by people was the claim that Edgar Cayce was a Christian. I felt it would be good to examine that claim and see if it holds up biblically. In Jesus’ own words, Matthew 7:15-20 reads: 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Jesus tells us we can know someone, specifically false prophets, by their fruits. What have they produced? What was the cause or motivation of their actions? Did they win people to the Lord or lead them astray? Edgar Cayce is not known for bringing people to salvation through Jesus Christ. In fact, Cayce is most known for his large number of prophecies. Specific numbers vary on just how many prophecies and other writings there are of Cayce’s, but they are usually counted as somewhere around 20,000. He also had a vast array of teachings, including things about astral travel, the Akashic records, and reincarnation. Here is one source of interpretation of Cayce’s teachings: Cayce predicted that the so-called “Battle of Armageddon” described symbolically in the Bible would begin in 1999. Cayce foresaw that this “battle” will not be a war fought on Earth. Rather, it will be a spiritual struggle between the “higher forces of light” and “lower forces of darkness” for 1000 years of Earth time. The reason for this struggle is to prevent souls from lower afterlife realms from reincarnating to Earth. By preventing souls from the lower afterlife realms from reincarnating to Earth, only enlightened souls will be permitted to reincarnate. The result will be 1000 years of building a world of peace and enlightenment. After 1000 years, souls from lower afterlife realms will be permitted once again to reincarnate to Earth. By this time, the so-called “kingdom of heaven” will have been established on Earth. (source ) This type of teaching is common in New Age theology; I remember it quite well. However, we can see how New Age theology and Edgar Cayce’s teachings are incompatible with the Bible. In this example, the first thing to point out is the battle of Armageddon did not begin in 1999. Also, there is nothing in the scriptures to signify this is meant to be understood as symbolic. The specific text, Revelation 16:16-21, reads: 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. 17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. We have very literal language used here. There is talk of angels, of course, but this is not an event that is happening in Heaven or another spiritual location. We read about an earthly place called “Armageddon” in the Hebrew language, a physical earthquake, an earthly city, earthly islands, earthly mountains, earthly men, and hail falling on the earth. These are all physical and literal things mentioned throughout the text. Therefore, if Cayce taught the battle would not be on Earth, we have a choice to make. Are we going to believe Edgar Cayce or the Bible? Either the Bible contains the truth or not. Biblical teachings compared against Edgar Cayce’s teachings offer no middle ground nor compromise. Reincarnation is a big belief taught by Cayce and other more modern New Age sources. However, Hebrews 9:27 states: And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Again, we have a choice. Are we going to believe Cayce or the Bible? The Bible teaches once you die, you are sealed in your eternal choice. Either you have accepted Jesus or rejected Him. You have either followed God or you haven’t. Cayce taught reincarnation. These two beliefs cannot go hand in hand without compromising one or the other. Then the question inevitably comes up, did Edgar Cayce have prophesies that turned out true? Yes. In fact, he is regarded as one of the greatest worldly prophets because, based on certain estimations, he has over an 80% accuracy rating. Does this mean he was a Christian? Quite simply, no. The Bible teaches that anything less than a 100% accuracy rating in the realm of prophecy is unacceptable. In fact, in the ancient days of Israel, one false prophecy was enough to earn a death sentence. This is because any prophecy of God will come to pass exactly as it was prophesied. However, a prophecy by any other source will never be able to have that kind of accuracy. This is how we can tell if a prophet is representing God or not. YHWH, the God of the Bible, takes prophecy very seriously. Jesus consistently warned against false prophets, and the Old Testament give us the method to tell if a prophet is true or false. Deuteronomy 18:19-22 reads: 19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. 20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. 21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. Therefore, we once again have a contradiction between the Bible and Edgar Cayce. Which do we trust? The Bible holds up to its own teachings by providing a 100% prophetic accuracy rating. The Bible has been help up to scrutiny for millennia, yet has never been disproved. The great thing about all this is it should be incredibly easy to disprove the Bible if it weren’t true. All one would have to do is find one prophecy that didn’t come to pass when and how God said it would. Many have tried and all have failed.  I don’t say these things to be insensitive or rude. I completely understand the allure of the New Age. However, once I was out of it and started seeing things clearly, I realized the reality behind all the things I was inherently interested in was found in the Bible. Personally, I absolutely love prophecy. I love the idea that I have a book at my disposal that consistently tells the future before it happens. Of course, the world will claim this isn’t true, but also offers no real evidence to back up that claim. Again, if the Bible were not true, it should be incredibly easy to disprove. For more information on Bible prophecies and for some materials on how you can test the Bible for yourself, check out the video below: As I stated before, the purpose here is not to insult Edgar Cayce or show disrespect to any person. I don’t hate or hold anything against Cayce personally. My belief is he was more of a victim; a deceived person who believed was doing good and right by the world, but who the forces of darkness were using towards their own ends. I see people like Edgar Cayce as prisoners or war rather than the enemy.  The truth, the biblical truth, is that our true enemy is not each other. In essence, people aren’t the problem. Ephesians 6:12 teaches us the true enemy is a spiritual one. It reads: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Fallen angels and demons are our true enemy. They are the ones who are sowing discord amongst humanity. They are the true promulgators of deception. However, that doesn’t let us off the hook either. We all have a personal responsibility to find the truth and share it with others through God’s lead. That is my hope here. My main reason for this study is the hope that there might be people who are beginning to question New Age and want more information. This isn’t an attempt to prove myself right or slam people who subscribe to New Age beliefs. If you are into New Age theology, I don’t hate you, I don’t blame you, and I don’t judge you. I would be the biggest hypocrite in the world if I did. Instead, my only concern is to provide you with the evidence of truth and hope you will consider it seriously and logically.
